All our cottages are family-friendly, each providing:

  • a washer/dryer and outdoor drying facilities
  • plastic plates, tumblers and bowls
  • a DVD player
  • Freeview - watch Cbeebies and CBBC
  • baby and toddler equipment – including cots, highchairs, stair gates and bed guards (all available upon request)

Here at Birchill Farm we provide a safe, peaceful environment for families to have fun:

  • enjoy lots of space to run around or play a game of football
  • explore our outdoor play area – situated overlooking a valley, an ideal spot for parents to relax on a warm evening, whilst their children are happily amused!
  • help to feed our chickens and ducks and collect their eggs
  • meet our friendly goats Flora and Merryweather

Here at Birchill Cottages we are dedicated to making your holiday enjoyable and stress free.

For those families who feel that a little help with the catering might aid relaxation, we offer the following:

  • ‘Posh Nosh’, our home cooked meals service – enjoy a delicious meal in the comfort of your own cottage
  • Welcome Hampers – a selection of locally sourced foods
  • Riverford organic fruit and vegetable boxes (NB All Riverford orders must be made through us but please use the link to make a note of your choices)
  • Tesco and Sainsburys home delivery service

On a rainy day... our visitors’ centre includes:

  • a wealth of information about things to see and do in and around North Devon

  • a games area with a pool table
