child friendlyWe have a range of cottages to suit a range of families - large or small! Four of our cottages are family sized, four star cottages, that have recently achieved a Gold Award for exceptional quality of accommodation and customer service. We also have two one-bedroomed five star cottages ideal for new families. All our cottages have their own washer/dryers and outdoor drying facilities. We provide hand blenders for the preparation of baby food, plastic plates, tumblers, bowls and child size cutlery. In each cottage you will find a DVD player - don't forget to bring your favourite DVD's, and of course a TV with Freeview - your little ones can watch Cbeebies and CBBC while you put your feet up for five minutes. Our bedrooms have blackout blinds or curtains - so hopefully no early morning wake-up calls. This year all our cottages with stairs now have fitted, opening stair gates (top and bottom). You will find a comprehensive information folder and a selection of board games in your cottage. Toys, games and books can be borrowed from our indoor play barn. Our cottages have fully enclosed gardens or terraces with patio furniture and barbecues. | |||

baby and toddler friendlyWe know how stressful going on holiday with babies and toddlers can be, so we have tried hard to design and equip our cottages to make your family holiday as relaxing as possible. And so you don't have to pack everything except the kitchen sink, we have a selection of baby and toddler equipment for you to borrow free of charge - just let us know what you need... please book at least 7 days in advance of your stay
In addition you will find a changing mat, socket covers, a hand food blender and baby/toddler bowls and cutlery in every cottage. A toddler bed is available for use in The Granary, Bryony, Hazel and Willow Cottages - please check if is available when you book your cottage. There is an additional charge of £25 per stay. | ||
parent friendlyThe kitchens in our cottages are very well equipped, but for those mums and dads who would like a night off, we offer the following: ‘Posh Nosh’ a selection of high quality, frozen, homemade, 'pop in the oven' ready meals. We also stock frozen kid's meals and frozen baby food as well as high quality, authentic curries made by The Devon Food Company. Baby sitting can be arranged if you feel like escaping for the evening!
