Dogs welcome
We welcome your well behaved dog at Birchill Cottages from the beginning of September to the end of June in Hazel Cottage. Please telephone us at the time of booking if you would like to bring your dog on holiday with you. We do have a number of conditions that we ask you to consider carefully
- we charge a supplement of £4 per dog per night
- one small or medium sized dog only
- sorry, we cannot accept dogs under 12 months of age
- your dog must not be left in the cottage unattended at any time
- dogs must not be allowed upstairs.
- dogs are not to go on the furniture – please bring throws to cover the soft furnishings if you think your dog may try to do this
- dogs must be on a lead whilst on the farm as we have free ranging ducks and hens.
- owners must clean up after their dogs
- please remember to bring towels for drying your pet, bedding and feeding bowls
Hazel Cottage has an enclosed garden – but please supervise your pet as we cannot guarantee they are 100% dogproof!
North Devon is a very dog friendly area. Most of the beaches allow dogs in the winter and many of the pubs welcome dogs as do many of the gardens. There are some lovely walks that can be enjoyed with your dog directly from Birchill Cottages and others just a short drive away.
